A sulphur burn raises the PH on the leaves so high the mildew doesn't want to be there..( indoor grow)
Not sure if sulphur burn is possible without a tent but it's a sure fire way to knock it back....
I have also used neem oil to keep it at bay. Once again the mold doesn't like to be on the leaf but I think it's for a different teason

pm is systemic. it is not a topical problem, and can not be treated as such. my experience with it, I have used lactic acid bacteria with good results. It can only keep it at bay, it is not a cure. of course, it spreads pretty quickly. best thing is rip the plants out and burn them, then disinfect everything.

I was told by someone to mix dish soap and water and spray the plant down to prevent bugs. I tried to do that a couple years ago on my outdoor plant. It killed it. all my leafs turned brown and it slowly died. so I wouldn't recommend soap and water.

U can get a powder sulfur and dust the plant with it. It will will kill pm on contact.or a burner like surfinc said.
An ammonia/water solution 1part ammonia 20 parts water. As well as any copper based fungicides. Last 2 work for smaller scale ops.

Got me thinking monoxide.
How did you apply your soapy water?? Strength/soap used/time of day/# of applications a day or week.
Just seems odd to me. They burnt up like that.

It was mid day. I used a spray bottle with about 4-5 drops of dawn. sprayed it down. you could definitely tell there was soap covering the leafs.

Odd sir. Cuz I use a drop or so when I need to spray fer bugs n what not. Add it so it sticks to plant seems to get a better covering.
Mid day I wouldn't have sprayed anything but water. Unless it was a cool overcast day.
IMO should spray mornings or nights.
