Help is appreciated.
I am having problems with Sexing my plants in Veg. Pre-flower
1) How do you tell the difference between " Little Footballs" & "Little catalax "
2) Is it possible to have only 1 hair ?
3) Is there a window of opportunity for identification ?
4) How do I identify Males before clusters appear ?

you can put them in 12/12 and wait to see, then back in veg. or wait until you can be positive its male or female. as long as your keeping daily eyes on them, I wouldn't worry about the males popping. I'm sure there is other ways too.

1) sometimes you can't, which is why a flip to 12/12 may be in order.
2) Yes, the first hair has to pop, but if you get down in the plant, more likely you'll see more.
3) From sexual maturity until they're placed into flower. You won't get them all to sex in veg.
4) Males will normally show one ball on each side of non alternating nodes along the main stem first, or at the non alternating nodes of the lower branches. (not a hard and fast rule of course, but a good guideline)

In the end, if you're unsure, just flip them. If they're that close to showing sex while in veg, it will only be a few days before you're positive in 12/12.

You can also take a cutting drop in water toss in 12/12 mark itbtontgevplantbu take it from of coarse. 7-10 days u should see male or fem.
another way is take a loupe n look. Male pre flowers when forming usually gave a lil leaf that covers it. Vs the fem that doesn't
It's tricky in some cases. But when in doubt flip it n see.
Yes it's possible to have 1 hair presexing

I do all my culling in veg
