In this thread, i will give a simplified method to use raw chemical fertilizer parts to make your own hydroponic mix. This method is perceived by hobby gardeners as complex, however there are some formulas from 1950 that I have come across, so the science has been around for some time, and is quite straightforward.
Basic fertilizer parts:
Calcium Nitrate,
Potassium Nitrate
Mono-Potassium Phosphate
Magnesium Sulfate
Trace element mix
The formulas that I will give are for big farms, so even trace elements are in parts, but you can skip that by just getting a trace element mix

These formulas are only for reference, the grower will get hold of it quickly and will have much better control over feeding than with ready mix fertilizer, and will be able to go for a much longer time period on the same reservoir while topping it with only some chemicals that are needed but not the others. There are more chemicals that can make the control even better, but these will suffice for a small scale grower.
