I love growing Organically. Makes me feel good to make my own Compost and Teas. The only thing I use that comes from a bottle is Molasses. I have yet to do an indoor Organic grow though.
Inside I like DWC,,and im not sure about Organic nutes for DWC,,never tried. Wounder if I could just strain my Compost Teas and use in DWC??Would that work?

Some people say the big fan leaves are the solar panels for our plants. There have been big debates but I know the general consensus of experienced growers say leave them on the plant. Do not remove them. The nodes don't need the light as much as the leaves do.jmo Green mojo to you mono.

I'd like to have a drain to waste system but I don't. When I water my plants the pot under the smart pot get almost full of water. Should I shop vac that out or just let it soak back up eventually? I watered last night and it's still sitting in about 2" of water.

Water till it runs out the bottom. It usually takes it back up in a half an hour. Don't let it set over night. Pretty soon you will know how much they take. My five gallon pots take at least a half a gallon of water then i add more till it runs out. You will get the hang of this soon. I love my smart pots.

Here are my clones, kali-47 4 weeks

I woke up this morning and my 1k light was not on. The ballast was running, but the light was off. I'm guessing the light is blown? That really sucks because, I have only had the light running for a little over 2 months. Any ideas? Will this affect the grow by missing a day of light?

if they go 24 hours in dark they will be fine........I have done that a few times changing the 12 on 12 off schedule to work with my schedule.

i just went and changed the light. That was the cause. I thought the lights were supposed to last a year. I'm glad I bought a spare.

always have a spare........ even if it is an old used bulb...... best order another...... you never know

i buy my lamp local and he dates the tops and when they burn out fast ( which they sometimes do ) even hydrolux. he replaces. On the box they have a written warranty on most bulbs.. i will try to find my spare for a picture
