once again the problem is with me and not the site and i need a little push in the right direction in re-sizing my POTM photos---would like to see them fill the page and not re-sized when u click on them

so the other 2 pics in the pic of the month resized to fit the page on their own-----c'maaaaaaaaaaaaaannn-----really

any thoughts how i might re size on my end to fill the page w/out loading in

if the picture is larger then the width of the forum, then it will automatically be resized. max width of the forum is 960px. so when resizing your photo's on your photo editor. you want to resize the width of the picture to be no greater then 960px.

photo 1 = [[File:pic name.JPG]] this is accomplished by simply clicked on the attached file that you uploaded

photo 2 = [[File:pic name.JPG|none|auto]] this is accomplished by clicking "insert" located next to the uploaded file. then clicking "auto"

photo 3 = [[File:pic name.JPG|none|fullsize]] "insert" will allow you to also use the full size of the photo.

which is where i come to my last point. in the "insert" section there is also a "custom" option. where you can manually set the height and width of the photo.

is it correct to say if i like #3 i can resize under "custom" tp 960 x 960 and im good

If we get to many big pics it will slow site down wont it?

slow loading isn't a forum issue. it's a you issue. whether it be an old computer that can't process large photo sizes quickly, or a bad internet connection.

Nah it just my Computers are older and Big Pics slows it down a bit.
