I couldn't build prisons, I'd be putting excape routes in then in case I ended up in it. Or to sell to others.
Last one I worked on, I told the architect that he couldn't keep me in his hotel for a weekend. He asked why. I told him that, other than solitary, each cell had access to the entire prison, and that at the end of each "pod", there was a CO2 fire extinguisher. Take the extinguisher and smash the tempered glass window in your cell by hitting it on the bottom corner. He said, "We though of that. We have heat sensors on the roofs." I told him a 20 second blast of CO2 straight up in the air would chill down the censors long enough to hit the fence. He said, "We have heat censors on the fence, too." I told him that they'd built the prison in the middle of prime deer hunting land, and that a deer's heat would set off the sensors, too.
He says, "I hope the prisoners don't think of that!" I replied that they had nothing but time to figure it out.
Sure as hell, the first night in operation, they had to turn off the fence sensors due to deer setting them off. Four days after being in operation, someone did the same thing I told him I'd do. They found him two miles away at the closest bar, the same bar I used to hit after working there.
