Good morning all. Temps here are not bad--teens at night and low to mid 30s during the day. I do need to clean one of the Jeeps and put new tailgate and rear window struts in, but it is just too cold to get out there and work like that with ungloved fingers. And washing anything is also out of the question.
Duck--keep warm--50 mph winds have to give you a horrible wind chill. One of the things I really love about where I live is virtually no wind.
Grower13, I can't think of anything cute to say, even when I'm not stoned. Oh wait, am I ever not stoned?
Cubby, I love peppered bacon and waffles. If you have a good seasoned waffle iron, they are a snap. My mom always used to say the first waffle always sticks, but she was a terrible cook. I've got a great old waffle iron that puts out perfect waffles.
Budgrower, keep that feeling. I have found that a big chunk of being happy is waking up in the morning looking at everything you have in life rather than waking up and thinking what you don't have (and probably don't need). Though I'm pretty poor and have some arthritis things that cause me problems, I still have a wonderful life and am thankful every morning for all I have. So, try and hang on to that feeling and think about it every morning you wake up. Happiness is just a state of mind that ultimately you control.
WH, nothing wrong with a little blackjack with your granddaughter. My gramps taught me to play poker and playing cards with him has always been one of my best memories of our time together. And then there IS the math thing if you are playing 21.
Toke it up and enjoy your day!
