Could trim it up but trimming dry buds a pain. All to hash. So I'm guessing I should probably break up the buds before the dry ice shake?

yes, don't waste time breaking up those nugs. They will get shredded. Your going to love it. It's not melty, but its nice. Just light one corner and it stays lit the whole time. Taste amazing too.

Still wrapping up, but pretty cool. Didn't work out separated like you guys. So a bit darker. Still pretty stoked though. Over two ounces of high CBD hash

Curious how you reuse the dry ice after shaking. Do you strain it somehow from the spent shake? About many pounds needed to strain 5-7 oz trim and popcorn buds?

WOW! This method works great! Ran about 3 oz trim and got an amazing 9 gr of very tasty hash. Will let this batch dry a bit then press it into small flat squares in foil. Still have another 4 oz popcorn buds letting get really dry before the big freeze. One question...how do I clean the glass? Thanks 4u2.

does it matter what kind of hash press to get? I see them go for as low as $5-6 up to $80 or even higher. Also, when pressed how much does a full load hold? 4-5g?

just tried this, worked great! 6 quick grams of material used the 220 bag amazing how the dry ice shreds up the dry trim

I now have to send u some beans or some thing instead of trim i guess ;)



I have a method I use to press my grinders keef.

Preheat oven i think to 160 is what i remember.

No idea where I seen how to do this, so from memory use a cigarette cellophane fill 1/2 way of wtv. ( larger amounts i imagine a oven cooking bag would work also ).

Fold into as tight of a square u can. ( or if using the oven bag tie it all off in one corner ).

Tape it up really tight with scotch tape or packing tape if using a oven bag. step on it.

Wet a few paper towels, wrap the little tape pack in them. ( make sure they are real wet as it prevents the tape and plastic from melting obv ).

Once oven is heated place paper towel in oven on a Pyrex pan or cookie sheet. heat for 10 mins.

the paper towels will be very hot to the touch be careful.. use a razor to cut open the tape package and u have a rock of ready to smoke hash.


e/ here is 3 grams baked for 10 mins @ 170 degrees taped stepped on retaped 2 paper towels and this is end result, it was still a little soft and broke easy could of used another 5 mins probably

I like to shake the bag for a minute then scoop up that batch, then shake for 2 minutes, grab that batch. then shake the hell out of it and scoop up that batch. batch three for them scavenger smokers lmao.
