i've used plantlight before but lately been using new england hydroponics, not sure why(lol) but i never had a problem with them.

I have been using Amazon more and more lately. I have Amazon Prime and can get tons of things shipped 2 day shipping free. They have about the best buy on gal of GH nutes. When my 1000W ballast went out, I got another in 2 days. As a side note, there are a lot of hydro stores that retail through Amazon, so I am probably using a bunch of different hydro stores--I just look for the best buy.

Weedhopper, I used to get a lot of things from HTG, but some of their marketing has irritated me. For instance, selling a duct booster fan with a 600W or a 1000W HPS package and telling people that that fan will work makes me angry. If I cannot trust them to not cheat unsuspecting/unknowledge people, I do not want to do business with them.

Umbra, I suspect that the cops check license plates of vehicles at the hydro store in the town closest to me--the main reason that I do not shop there. But their prices are also higher than I can get on Amazon. When you have to drive 65 miles over a mountain pass to get to the hydro store where a cop could be taking note of you, it makes Amazon and 2 day delivery look even better

HTG has done me right on returns and exchanges. I got a crappy T5 8 bulb light.... poor workmanship. I called them up and told them to take it back. They said to throw it away and they sent me a better model for the same price I quoted them from an Amazon listing which was $100 lower than their comparable product. I never order on line from them. I call them and discuss my needs and place my order on the phone.

I agree with THG about Amazon's lower prices, and the convenience of Amazon Prime 2-day delivery.

But I've also ordered several times from Greners http://www.greners.com/

They are good people to deal with.

I have used amazon...but I am a paranoid guy so didnt like delivery to spot...kinda kooky i know...
locally there are 3 indoor hydro shops..only a few bucks more expensive, in my experience, they give 10-15% off cause they recognize my face (return Custy) but its cash and carry so i have what i need right then...
They also order anything I ask for so....I lost my kooky delivery deal ..

Yea I also don't like buying grow supplies online. My hydro store gives me great discounts as well
