Its more of a strain base thing imo. some strain fox some dont

foxtailing is more strain based then anythig esle .most extreme examples are on pure 12 week or more landrace saitvas .

I'm not crazy about strains that foxtail--the bud just doesn't seem to get much density. Like sin inc, I have noticed it more on more sativa dominant strains.

Gotta disagree with you there thg it's simply not true.
Kaliman Cheese #1 not only foxtails but also produces extremely dense nuggets
