hey all
for how long u grown and smoke and wat other countries u smoked in and wat type of growing u do ?


for me this is my 2nd year, i smoke for 11 years now , i grow outside, no advanced techniques.
smoked in ( Afghanistan,Pakistan, India, Syria, Lebanon,Morocco) all local weed,hash,chars,weed oil.

I have been growing for 5 years. I smoked for ten years then quit to have kids and raise them, now i have been smoking for ten years or so...the only other country i have smoked in is Canada. I have smoked in several states however. ha. You have been around the block BG.... lots of countries.

I've been smoking for 35 years now. wow I'm getting old.
I remember when the Humboldt super skunk bud hit the bay area , what a change from the seeded Mexican brown weed. Just started growing 2 years ago, indoors.

Ive been smoking since i was 17,,im 58. As for growing,,I started growing in 2008 when i joined MP,,I cant with good conscience call what I was doing before i joined The MP,,, Growing. LOL

I grew for 5 years...took 2 years off......have new grow going now......My first grow I ended up with 1 female plant ....my last grow before I took break I grew around 100 plants before it was over. This is the only forum and marijuana passion where I asked questions how to do things. You guys are the best. I started smoking the cheap mexican weed back in the middle seventies. Was potent in my mind, never bought any Columbia gold, Acapulco gold, or Panama red. just the 12 and 15 dollar stuff..I quit partying when I was 25 for about 15 years, I socially drink, and have smoked weed off and on over the last 15 years...I've found good swag from 85 to 100 dollars an ounce in the later days...not your every dayer all my life but I have plenty of episodes. I'd probably like to smoke weed the rest of my life, but I might quit tomorrow? Who knows?

I've been growing since I first started smoking, bout 16 yrs ago now....good lord...

I first smoked marijuana in 1969 when I was 17 year old. When we do the math, that comes out to 45 years. There were periods where I did not smoke or did not smoke much, but those were usually periods where it was beyond my control--mostly not enough money or I just couldn't find any.

I grew my first outdoor crop in 1981 and grew off and on since then, finally getting serious in 1998. My hubby and I grew in a small greenhouse we had for about 3 years. After that I grew some indoors under fluorescent lights. And did that for several years. I didn't get really into it seriously--dedicated spaces, HID lighting, controlled environment, etc--until 1998 when my bf and I moved and we set up a real grow. We ran a 1000W HPS and a 400W MH. We ran soil and made up our own soil mixture and used FF nutes. I went to hydro in 2004, although I do some organic soil plants in the summer when I can.

I am not much of a traveler. I love the state I live in and when I had vacation time, I mostly spent it in the mountains that I love--camping, fishing, white water rafting (lots of that here). I have smoked in pretty much all the surrounding states. I did go to Canada in 2004 and visited Vancouver and Victoria. Went to a "café" in Vancouver where we could smoke marijuana and I did.

I've been bringing little ones up inside since March of last year (so less than a year).. smoking for 17 or so and have smoked in: Mass, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Canada, Tennessee, Florida, Cozumel-Mexico, Grand Caymon Islands, Ocho Rios-Jamaica, and 33,000 feet. And ALL over the ocean :)

Smokin' 39 yrs with two or three breaks because of the lawz. But only been growing a bit since I fell into MP about 3 or 4 years ago. I am not good with time...

Travel: hmmm I can't get a visa. Don't ask.

Funny you should mention that. Ran into an old buddy of mine from back in those days.
The subject came up about the good old skunk bud ,even before the purple bud started to come our way. We remember how wasted we use to get. One bong toke maybe 2 and we're toast. It seemed to us what is available today with all the wonderful strains just doesn't seem to get us as stoned, at the least it takes more hits to get that high. We've both from time to time have smoked pot since then that got us that high.
Was cool finding out someone else have the same question about but quality now and then.
We both had to admit we were much younger and far less experienced with pot. I find it hard to believe the skunk bud of old was better that any of these super strain available today.
One thing is for sure I remember the super skunk bud being better than what's out there today.So to answer your question , I'm not sure.

I use to have a cut of skunk that was a 1 hit wonder. You'd take a hit, go to exhale and forget who what where you were...potent and you could pull it from 45-55 daze. The only draw back was that the high peaked at 45 mins then quickly dissipated.


Sadly that strain lost its vigor after hundreds of generation of clones after clones....now onto to longer lasting strains (i.e. length of high)

i have started smoking at 9 i am now 36. i started growing a year before i joined mp back in 2006. as for where Canada and in the states.
