I didn't know where to place this thread. This may not be the right place. So, moderators, please feel free to move it to wherever it's most appropriate.

Anyway, do you need some comic relief? At the expense of my pride? If so, keep reading.

I've been growing for 5 or 6 years now. And I'm finally getting really good and consistent results in organic growing from seed.

So, I recently decided to try cloning for the first time. I bought a Clonex kit, and followed the directions to the letter. Or so I thought.

I took 8 cuttings from a very nice Jack Herer female plant. But none of them were worth a dime. Why? Because all of my cuttings were FAN LEAVES. Yes. I was enough to think fan leaves were the part to be cloned. Instead of the growing tips.

I'm laughing. Are you?

lol no. you should have known to look here first! but now you know.
its easy, right temp water, use heat mat, small cfl, and your skills.
if you run clones from a seed you liked, the clone will produce a lot better finished product.
ask for tips or help if you need it

oh] yeah the fan leaves just won't do for making clones. Ya gotta have just a little more to get the results. But hey at least you got 100% results and there is no doubt that you learned something.

Yeah, I did learn something. Mainly, that I can laugh at myself. And I haven't always been able to say that.

Thanks everyone. I think I may have it now. I hope so. I'll be cloning again soon.
