dang umbra your lucky where ever you live... up here in michigan we got about -15*F and about -38*F with the wind chill... HOLY ICE CUBES BATMAN!!! so last night at about 2:30-3am i woke up freezing, so i got up and checked my grow room BURRRRR temps got down to 64. cold air was rushing in my vent system and unfortunally i dont have the cash right now to buy a backdraft damper vent to prevent cold air from blowing back up my vent system, but then again right now i suppose i dont need it, the added heat vented back into the room should be good for the gals, considering for the alst 3 days the temps have been dropping from 74-80 (night/day) to about 64-70 so the added heat is defently helpful at this point, i also had to put a inch and a half thick sheet of foam insulation into my window opening to cover the window and help prevent so much cold from leaking in. hopefuly in a few hours the temps should stabilize to normal again... well for those of you that have these epic cold temps stay warm and try to not go anywhere, its nasty out there, and for those of you who are sitting with 60-70 temps... you lucky dogs... enjoy that warm weather for me lol as much as i like the winter/cold this -15 is absolutly bonkers...

oooooo heat wave!

Morning all. It is 25 here and we have light snow falling. We finally got a little snow last night and we are supposed to continue to get small amounts over the next few days. By this time of year, we usually have feet of snow. I feel bad for all of you with that horrible cold weather. Stay in if you can and stay warm. That wind chill can really get you.

I am getting ready to lay down a bunch of flooring. I am trying to figure out how to get it done with the least amount of disruption as I can, but I have to do it in stages. I have pulled the carpet in the dining room and am painting the small dining area now. The floor needed some repair that I got started yesterday. Should have painting and floor repair done today. I will need to move the stove and fridge into the family room while I do the dining area and kitchen. Then move the appliances back and everything from the family room to the dining room. Then I can do the family room. After that, the hallway and the laundry room should be a snap. All the rooms are fairly small and I don't have too many tricky cuts, so I am believing that everything will go okay. However when I contemplate laying 400 sq ft of vinyl plank flooring, it seems a big task....

At least I have enough Satori to get me through this project and then several Beyond the Brain (1/2 Satori) to last me until the next Satori is done. I've decided that I want the majority of my closet to be filled with Satori--I'm thinking 4 or 5 plants Satori, a couple Nurse Larrys, and one or 2 of a good in-between strain--something for relaxing, but that doesn't couch-lock you.

I have started 6 of the F2 (is that right?) Nurse Larry seeds. This is the first seed run of the Nurse Larry seeds that Rosebud made from her Medicine Woman female and a Cali Connection's Larry OG Kush male. I'll be curious to see if we get wide phenol swings. Since this is my night-time go-to-sleep-and-feel-no-pain strain, I would suppose that I should be looking for the most indica looking characteristics?

Good morning MC....... hope everyone's bong hits and coffee are hitting the sweet spot......... 40 degrees here too Rose.......... hey Rose, How do you germinate your seeds?......... I stick mine in MG seed starter........... learned that a few years back from Hamster Lewis......... there must be a 100 ways to pop seeds. Some better than others......... I don't like popping them in folded paper towels sitting on top of the fridge.
