Good morning peeps, I still have company, but i like um.
Will be glad to get the christmas stuff down, except mantel, i really like that. Cubby, when you are you de christmasing?
Did i see where THG is mod now???? We will have to have a chat about her hysterical funny post yesterday.... is that anyway for a mod to talk? yup.
Rosebud, I wasn't a mod yet when I wrote that............I will try to behave better (insert chagrined smiley here).
I am taking the tree down today. One of my friends brought me a fresh cut tree the day after Thanksgiving and I have had it up for almost a month. Only a fresh cut tree will last that long. I have a little snow village on a shelf in the dining room that I will leave up for a while, but other than that, I think that most of mine is going to come down. I want to paint and then I have about 400 sq ft of flooring that I am going to put down.
Only Satori is going to get me going today, I am so glad I have some. I had the Family Christmas on Christmas, then another one with friends when I got back from family Christmas. I spent 3 hours in a crawl space yesterday and then last night I went over to some other friends for a post-Christmas pre-New Years evening (we stay home on New Years eve--too many scary people out and partying). I'm about out of steam.
It is cold and clear again today with a high of only 30. I might just get the tree down and then spend the rest of the day reading. The James Herriot books were on sale for Kindle yesterday on Amazon and I bought 3 of them. I haven't read them for years (okay its been decades) and remember loving them.
Rosebud, enjoy the rest of the visit with your company--isn't it nice when we genuinely LIKE our house guests. You all have a great day, stay warm, and toke it up as necessary.
I'm feeling quite warm and fuzzy this morning so will tell you all how much you and these sites mean to me! Ozzy and everyone else involved, thanks so much for MC. It is so much nicer to just move to a new spot than be "homeless" and have to look for a new home. I'm sure that there are still a lot of us online that were Overgrow refugees.
