Can anyone recommend a air purifier that will work for in house. We made mistake of trimming inside and the whole house smells now. I have 5 candles burning and still isn't taking the smell away.

I don't know about a whole house air purifier, but I trim in my house and always use those airwick (?) plug in air fresheners as well as start a pot of coffee. It doesn't remove the aroma, just camouflages it.

Good Luck.

Ona solution will mask the smell good.
Or try trimming in a small room. Vs open room in the house.
Will contain smell lil better.

As for "purifier" I don't know of any that would remove the "smell" that be worth your $$
Fir just a trimming use.

ozium will knock out the smell most the time. firing up the charcoal grill and letting a little smoke in the house will cover the odor

I do trim in a room with the door shut. It still gets out. I used 3 glade candles in the room and 1 outside of the room and you can still smell a fruity ganja smell lmao.

I will just piggy back my own thread.

It's coming up on time to change out the carbon filter. Does the whole canister get thrown away or is there recharges ?

Some can be refilled, though I've never done it. I just dump the used carbon in my garden and squish the cannister part and throw it in the recycle bin.

rebuilding/refilling the filters is hit and miss, unless you got a good vibration set up to get the compaction of the carbon, needed for complete air filtration. .

So very true. I've built 95% of my filters and fave found this.
I "tamp" mine per say but looking to modify an old paint shaker ;) fir this purpose.

I just tapped mine on the sides as I filled it, I think it depends on the coarseness of the carbon. If it is fine you don't want to compact it too much or very little air will get through, if it is coarser you may have to compact it more to remove air spaces.

Hold a power sander upside down without sand paper and set the carbon filter on it. This seem to get mine compacted enough. I figure a old vibrating back massager would work just as good, you dont need much compaction just enough to minimize the air spaces.

How do you squish it? Run it over with your car? Lol. Mine is pretty heavily made. I'll just re order one.

I have a steel door and frame on my garage, so I lay the filter on the floor and squish it between the door and frame. After it's squished I throw it in the recycle bin, you can't tell what it was.
