I took 10+ cuts off the above plant as of and on the date of this original post..... here is what I was left with:

I'm hoping for a LOT of stretch so I kept plenty of "GROW" in the nute mix

Her mom could take 1550ppm before showing any burn (in full bloom) ... I'm in the 900-1100ppm right now

Wouldn't you know it, not ten minutes after I made this thread, I snapped one of the 6 tops off while LSTing to give one of the tops dominance over the others.

So now it's 5 mains 5 tops. There was no saving it, the initial break was 90% and the last 10% let go while I was trying to splint it.

it was the one non main stem I left on... could have been much worse.

Rotated the plant (about 90degrees clockwise) so the fan will take the open spot left by my over zealous LSTing

All in all she looks nice.

So far stretch is in the 3+ inches 5 days in... keep it coming!!
I can accommodate another 20" before things start getting tight.







I don't plan on cutting anything more.
If those who know better than I about this think I should, speak-up now please.
it's down to "index finger and thumb" on the end of a stem.. do I need to cut the "thumb" off too?

5 stems seem to be filling out the space plenty fine!

still feeding a "high-GROW, bloom" nute mixture... think I'll wait till I start seeing flowers, then start a more normal bloom-mix.

for the non LED color tolerant

(after working with LED for almost a year I can say I don't see it as purple anymore... it takes a few mins right at first but I can look @ the white painted brick wall next to the cabinet, illuminated by the LED and see white, and the plants look green to me but not the pics I take... its very disconcerting)



(I've removed 1" from under the tote since first putting this in... height reference VS fan/cabinet)


how to put this...

she responds really well to pinching!!

I "60 degreed" all but this one to give it a height advantage
(yes, even after breaking a stem, I still LST'd the remaining)

so this pic is a result of:
Pinching till "squish" then roll a few times just to soften it up but NOT weaken it till it fell over. (like I did to the others)

If I could I would add a splash of cal mag....other than that looks flipping killer...gonna be some jumbo tops

splashed with 6ml into 2.5-3 gallon res

1400ppm is the "do not exceed" line

Mixed-up and res-swapped her final BLOOM! bathwater...

Steady as she goes from here, just coast in for a smoooooth landing.

I would tend to agree based on last 4 days of maturation....redonkulous how fast these ladies finish but you I would be stoked with a few more days IMHO....
