been fighting (daily) big PH swings
since going to bloom mix with my 3-part GH and adding KoolBloom, my Ph now drifts DOWN rather than UP which threw me for quite a loop but I think I've recovered.


Cant say the leafs are looking any better now or that I'm not seeing new "rust-spots" here and there but it's only on leafs; not one sign of it on bud. I'm just going to push through (day 44 today) and if it looks like the buds are starting to get effected, I'll chop.








decided to take a peek under the 1st layer of canopy...





considering: bag-seed and virgin grow...I'm content with that.







notes:
starting @ 5.9 now and drifting down to 5.5
added 10ml of Cal/Mag to 3+ gal

what ppms??

starting off around 730 - 750
with daily top-offs, that's not drifting much.

I've had as much as .6 Ph (drop) in 24 hours or as little as .1

yes, that's lower than "normal" ppm but I've been following PJ's advice on the nutes + LED

yes, I've calibrated the meter (Eco Tester PH2) and the bulb is NEVER dry

super dark green...maybe you could turn down the nitrogen a bit?? a bit more even?...

everything else is 0-x-x

my final mix is around 1300 ppm so I dilute from there
(shooting for 725ppm that's just over 1/2 strength)

I like the drying tote setup...I use a similar one but with cardboard box to help with moister buildup..When i used a tote over here by the beach down in the tote stayed moist longer than i wanted..Cardboard seems to help that by some holes i made and maybe absorbing some moisture that plastic just holds out...

probably early but I'd rather err on the side of cloudy VS amber

I like the cardboard box rather than plastic.
I'm hoping the "passive", 40% RH, basement air, airflow around the totes will be enough but I can see the bottom (inside the tote) not getting much / enough and cardboard acting as a sponge would help.

I can only afford the space a few days anyway... IC is seriously in need of some LED (12/12) love'n
