Had some pruning work to do in clone storage today.

Boysenberry cut of Bodhi Goji OG F3. She's been in her 1/2 gal under the T5 for almost 6 weeks, today was not the first haircut she got. She's going to move up to an 8 gal bucket on March 1st.



Also awaiting her 8 gal bucket, LiquidKid's Bubba Chunk. I have 3 more of this gal in solo cups, plan a whole row of her for the 2nd run, she's a great commercial strain and a good, solid smoke.



Clone storage is crammed full, having to leave the rooting clones on the floor in front of the tent. All of these gals will move up to their finishing buckets in the next 7-10 days and start vegging under the 3ks.

It would be nice if my daughter would come get all her crap I have stored in that room, makes it hard to get to the tent to do the work.

Been harvesting for the last few days. I have to take a break now and wait for some to dry as I am out of room to hang it. Still 14 plants left under the 3ks.

Harvested yesterday. Critical Plus. This is my local growing pals cut from girl he found in a pack he started for his od last year. Smoked her a lot, awesome toke, but this is the first chance I had to run her and she's pretty darn impressive. This clone only got 2 weeks veg before being flipped to fill a hole left by a male. Buds are really large and firm, and she's a crazy reeker. Skunky and nasty.



Gorilla Grape F3 was also chopped and hung.



And my cross, Buckeye Jack (98 Jack Herer x Buckeye Purple) Bummed none of the bud shots were clear, she has a very pretty light magenta/burgundy shade, that almost looks red in the lower buds. Smells like Jack with a hint of Buckeye Purple earthiness. Nicely frosted, I'm sure she'll smoke well. When it's time to jar her I'll get some pics to show the colors.

But, I didn't keep her cuts. She stretch a lot, and although the buds are firm, they're not stacked like they should be. A plant her size, with 60 days veg, needs to have much larger colas than that to be a keeper. I'd call her to the lower end of moderate yield.

lmao - sometimes being out of space is a good thing, melvan!!! lovely plants, clones look terrific!! I'm getting ready to start a few more of the buckeye purple, need to find a girl to run, lol! the frosted buckeye cuts all revegged fine, starting to stack nodes now and after it gets oh, 6 or 7 i'm going to start topping to see if i can get her to branch earlier for me this time. I've got a bad feeling about this year so i need to get everything ready to get in the ground and be as healthy with as little work out of me as possible. Just had a meeting with my doctor and went over the actual tests i just went thru, looking at a liver transplant, its completely riddled with cancer now, i have thrombosis of 3 of the main veins (pinching off because of the tumors), all kinds of other stuff - plus a dang hiatial hernia!! Holy crap! I also learned i was resuscitated during that last surgery in june of 2014, they never told me that, they just went over my heart rate rising and blood pressure dropping out. thats 3 times now i've died either on the way to the hospital or during/after surgery. I almost went with do not resuscitate, either, before the surgery!! WHEW!!!!!!! Love ya, melvan, keep up the great work!!

Did the second wave of harvesting yesterday, took 7 hours to rough trim and hang. It was day 65 for everything left. The space is shut down until Tues, when the next run transplants and starts full veg under the 3ks.

I had planned to take pics of everything, at least a couple shots. But with so much work, I only took some shots of the first few I took.

Pheno #1 of 89 NL5 F3. She's a girl I'm use to finding. Moderate sized nugs that are crazy dense. Rotted fruit stink. Pretty purple fade.



Pheno #2 of the 89 NL5 is a special lady. Massive clubs for colas, solid like wood. Garlic and mint smells, but not overpowering, nice low odor for the stealth. Sticky and greasy, if that makes sense. I've got a couple of clones of this gal I'm going to run, if she continues to perform she may end up in the F4 run that starts in June.

E pheno of Immortal Flowers Vortex x Deep Bubba Kush. Very large buds, nice tangerine smell. Going to run clones of her and the earlier finisher in the next run.



Yesterday just as I was turning off all the lights and leaving it in the dark with a fan.

The next run under the 3ks was transplanted between yesterday and today and is starting its veg under the 1ks. 24 in 5 gal buckets. We're a couple of weeks out from stores having garden supplies on the shelves, so I wasn't able to find proper 5gal buckets, so I grabbed some Rural King paint buckets. Last run in this space was 3gals, and the massive amounts of watering just about killed me. So I decided bigger buckets, less watering, lol.

Most of these were in solo cups for over 2 months, so they have a bit of recovery to do, Expected flip date on these gals is April 10th.

Black buckets down front are going to end up in the seed tent for the making of the fresh Buckeye Purple F2BX1s, The Evelyne (tested under the name Northern Buckeye) and a Gorilla Glue #4 that will be making the Purple Glue freebies for the next drop.

We had no power for 3 days last week, so I had to scavenge one of the pallets for an extra generator we were running, hence the milk crates down front. Hubby is suppose to pop out tomorrow and grab another one to replace it. I'm also awaiting delivery of additional Clean Roots platforms, which I will be using on all my plants from now on.

10 days in veg. Gals around the outer edge are still recovering from being in their solo cups for so long, but all in all, a very green bushy room right now. The Purple Urkle x Blueberry from Maddfarmer are showing the lock out the worst. Everyone just got water today, and I did a lot of pinching of tops.

I've replaced all the box fans with pedestal ocillating fans, a new 1k for down front is currently en route and should arrive in a few days. I ordered a remote controlled a/c that I'll pick up in the store in the next few days. All set for the warmer temps outside, high wattage inside, grow. Picked up 100 new bamboo stakes, I'm good to go, lol.

I'd been fooling around with some feed too, but for now, I'm back 100% on the GroTek with no plans to change any time in the near future. http://grotek.net/

I also lifted all the plants up onto Clean Roots platforms. The change from 3gal to 5gal buckets was spur of the moment, and after I'd ordered the 8". I should really have the next size up. Day 14 of veg. Had quite a bit of work, but not as much as I thought today. Still have a few gals trying to pull out of the stress of being in their solo cups for so many months, but I gave them some Peruvian Sea Bird guano today, usually perks them right up. I would have done it sooner, but it's pretty strong stuff, wanted to make sure they had the root mass to handle the dose.

First up, a couple of Liquid Kid's Bubba Chunks. The bigger, rounder one was in her 1/2 gal bucket for more than 2 months. I figured she'd need a bit more recovery time, but she took right off like a champ, which I should have known having grown her now for 4 years. The other was younger clone that was at the perfect time to transplant. I have a 3rd one, but she's buried too deep in the space to pull out, looks just as good.

Boysenberry cut of Bodhi Goji OG F3 was out today to go into bondage. She's the classic connoisseur level plant. Amazingly awesome weighing buds of spectacular toke and a crappy, weak, vine like structure. I had 2 clones of her in my last run and nowhere near the staking she needed. Buds flopped, got denied light, did not turn out the same as in previous runs.

But, now, she's my bitch. She's all tied up, with plenty of staking left to continue tying as she grows. I have a trellis that can be added once she's in flower and puts her stretch on, which she likes to do. Neat little contraption I picked up at the ag store, using the bamboo stakes you can configure it into 3 different shapes based on what you need.

Being in the 1/2 gallon for more than 2 months strengthen her stems a bit, and I've got her in the sweet spot for air flow. She's going to do what I want whether she likes it or not.

All the girls were out today to have their bottoms cleaned, cuts taken, and general inspection. Took some random shots while I was working.

Some of you may remember Starwarz, he shared this late 90's DJ Blue Short Blueberry with me a few years back. She needs lots of support during flower, but she's worth the effort in the toke.



The garlic pheno of the 89 NL5 I found in this last seed run of the F3s. This is the smallest of the 4 clones I have in there. She was an awesome weigher, low odor. Nice, uplifting toke. Very happy with her. She is totally self supporting, I just used the stakes to open up her up, get the light down deep and max that weight.



These 3 had the shortest veg and are the smallest in the space. From left to right Buckeye Purple mom, one of 3 Dead North phenos and that pretty purple Gorilla Grape F3 I found in the last seed run. She's a nice, comfortable day time buzz. High but not unmotivating at 65 day harvest.



And a shot of the bamboo I'm growing. It's so easy to grow, you just stick it in the dirt, lol.

NEwguy, it's that special bamboo that you buy already in the long plastic bags. Just get the end off the plastic, pull it out, stick it in the dirt and BAM! A bamboo forest, lol.

The deep purple pheno of Gorilla Grape F3 I found in the last seed run. Currently day 8. You can see the purple coming on much easier in person.

Had a couple of gals out on day 14

This is A.M.'s keeper pheno of my Dead North he found in his test pack. I've smoked her, she's awesome. Buds are like stones with the funk from the Deadhead and a touch of rotted fruit from the 89NL5.

She's going to get tossed out into the od this summer, if she does well, she's going to go into the mix of parents for the next generation of the cross. Bit concerned she may have mold issues at the end because the buds are so hard, we'll just have to see what happens.

After I took the pics I opened her up with some bamboo stakes and did some defoliating. I've got a super tight space right now, got to help get the light down in there.



My Buckeye Purple seed making mother. She doesn't like to get pounded by the light, and I didn't realize she was dead center of one of the 1ks, so I got her moved to a spot where it's a bit more diffused, see if I can soften up some of those razor edges.

i use the pest strip to after my one and hopefully last bug issue back in the day. i put it half inside/outside the passive intake of the tent. now i'm the only pest i worry about ;) looking puurdy
