You get worse from eating corn or taking some of the poison they advertise on TV.

This isn't my personal porn, it's shots of 2 of my crosses Northern Green (Buckeye Green x 89 NL5) and Buckeye North (Buckeye Purple x 89 NL5) grown by my friend OG1969 in his indoor in CA. He harvested them yesterday. Seed plant he flowered for 75 days.

Northern Green clone day 11. I have 2 of these in flower right now, the other is about day 8. This is my own cross of the Buckeye Green x 89 NL5. She was out today for a week 2 GroTek feed. Running in a 2.5gal square.

Started 15 seeds today, all my own workings. 3 each of the following:

Dead Diesel (Cali Connections Deadhead OG x Sativa Diva Double Down Diesel F2 BX1)
Frosty Buckeye (MaddFarmer Strawberry Frost x '89 NL5) x Buckeye Purple
Gorilla Grape F3s
89 NL 5 F3s
Northern Grape (Grape God F2 x 89 NL5)

They're in the cab under the 2ft T5. Sowed direct to ProMix moistened with 1ml/Vitamax Plus and 2ml GroTek Grow per gallon. Here's a nice pic of cups of dirt, lol.

My Gorilla Grape F3s I made from an original Outlaw pack of F1s. I'm hoping to find a male to hit a branch of my keeper gal that I showed a few posts back for some stash beans as I'm getting low.

I'm glad to see people getting interested in these again, as well as seeing Outlaw releasing some further working of the line. Beautiful colors and awesome toke, can't ask for much better than that.

I had some of TCVGs gear, and lostem somewhere. Found some Blush though. Now I gotta find them again. LOL

Just a quick note to say that, as of this morning, 13/15 of the new starts are above the soil line. The 2 not up are 89 NL5, and I always give those 5-7 days before I start getting worried as they do EVERYTHING slower in veg. Dead Diesels broke the line first yesterday morning, the others all followed during the day.

3 days to get their first leaf sets on, no soaking, no paper towels, no scuffing, just planted directly to the promix.

And the race is on..... Green light Mojo

Mel, i have always put my seeds directly in the seed starter, i don't do any of that other stuff either. Interesting about your NL being slow... but worth it...kinda like some kids or pets or people or anything.

Rosebud, people love to talk about the short finish of the 89 NL5, which is 45-52 days in most phenos. I found one that went 55, and I've popped a lot of the beans I made, but the majority are 50-52 days.

What they don't talk about it is the slow indica veg. And that snail's pace starts from sprout. I'm actually surprised to see one of the three up in 3 days. To maximize the number of sites for those hard nuggets to form they need at least a 60 day veg, with only one topping necessary to keep a short bush in flower. So the finishing time is basically washed out by the veg time, and you get the same finish from sprout to finish as any other indica.

But, in a perpetual, that short finish sure can help ease the lack of harvest between longer finishing hybrids, if you time the flip right.

Some of the girls were out today for their weekly feed, so I shot some fresh porn.

First up is Buckeye Green day 33. She had a Week 5 GroTek today.



Here is 2 clones of the Northern Green pheno, one at day 16 the other day 19, both had a week 3 Grotek. Last run of this gal, I have plenty more seeds of this cross to hunt, so I'm going to retire her and start some. Happy with her, not retiring her for any reason other than to free up room to hunt some new gals.

And, at day 8, LiquidKid's Bubba Chunk. She's up to Week 2 GroTek for her feed.

All the new babies are up and running. 2 89 NL5 are no shows. I knew they were under done, don't know why I sowed them. Too lazy to go downstairs and get new ones out the freezer I guess. One of the Dead Diesel is starting weak, going to give it a few days to get in gear before I cull it.
